Cook – Vietnamese & Ethnic Cuisine

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our South Vietnam Restaurant team in North Battleford. The role focuses on preparing authentic Vietnamese and other ethnic dishes in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Determine portion sizes and associated costs.
• Plan menus and estimate food requirements.
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
• Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes, and specialty items for customers with allergies or intolerances.
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure standards.
• Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and safe handling.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Clean kitchen and work areas.

Required profile

• Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of cooking experience, preferably in Vietnamese or ethnic cuisine.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment with extended standing.
• Flexibility, organization, and strong time‑management skills.
