About the role
Metcalf Food & Beverage Inc. is seeking a dedicated Cook for a seasonal full‑time position in Petersburg, Ontario. The role involves preparing high‑quality meals in a fast‑paced kitchen environment while supporting overall kitchen operations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling.
- Order supplies and equipment and maintain inventory records.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- Clean kitchen and work areas and manage overall kitchen operations.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 3 to 5 years of cooking experience.
- Client‑focused, dependable, flexible and a team player.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast‑paced environment, standing for extended periods.
