About the role
We are seeking a Cook to join our restaurant team in Wasaga Beach. The role involves preparing and cooking meals, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting staff in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling.
- Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory records.
- Clean kitchen and work areas and manage overall kitchen operations.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of kitchen experience.
- Personal qualities such as client focus, dependability, flexibility, organization, reliability, and teamwork.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
