About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team in Moosonee on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment, preparing a variety of meals for patients, staff and banquet events while ensuring high standards of food safety and quality.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes and special diet meals as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintaining cleanliness and compliance with health regulations.
- Order supplies and equipment, manage inventory and keep accurate records of food and supplies.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers, overseeing daily kitchen operations.
- Organise buffets, banquets and catering events, ensuring timely service.
