Cook – Full-time Permanent Position

About the role

The Turtle Grove Resort is seeking a dedicated Cook to join its restaurant team in Livelong, SK. This permanent full-time position involves preparing a wide range of meals for guests in a resort setting, ensuring quality, safety and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Determine portion sizes, calculate food costs and plan menus to meet guest demand.
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintain inventory records, and order equipment as needed.
• Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes, and special meals for guests with allergies or dietary restrictions.
• Inspect kitchen and service areas, enforce safety and sanitation standards, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• Train staff on food preparation, cooking techniques and proper handling of ingredients.

Required profile

• Strong client focus with excellent oral communication skills.
• Reliable team player able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to stand for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks.
• Criminal record check required and own transportation preferred.
