About the role
We are looking for a Cook to join Homestead Restaurant in Wynyard, SK. This full‑time permanent position involves preparing meals, coordinating events and managing kitchen operations.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate special events and organize buffets and banquets.
- Determine food portion sizes, costs and plan menus.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies and order equipment.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintain inventory and records.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- Clean kitchen and work areas and manage overall kitchen operations.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1–2 years of kitchen experience.
- Flexibility, good judgement, organized, reliable and a team player.
