Cook – French & International Cuisine (Permanent, Full-time)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Cook to join our restaurant in Saint‑Sauveur. You will be responsible for preparing French and international dishes in a fast‑paced environment while ensuring quality and safety standards. The position includes evening, morning and weekend shifts with occasional overtime.

Key responsibilities

• Plan menus, estimate food requirements and prepare complete meals or individual dishes.
• Prepare special meals for customers with allergies, intolerances or dietary instructions.
• Inspect kitchen and service areas, maintain inventory, and keep records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Train junior staff in food preparation, cooking techniques and safe handling.
• Clean kitchen and work areas daily.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation and a valid Cook Trade Certification.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a restaurant setting, with ability to work under pressure and stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail, team‑player attitude and client‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work evenings, mornings, weekends and on‑call shifts.
