About the role
Holt Renfrew is seeking a motivated Cook to join its vibrant, fashion‑driven environment in Vancouver. Working under the guidance of the Executive Chef, you will prepare and cook meals while upholding the highest standards of food safety and service.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook all meals according to the Executive Chef’s direction.
- Follow all food handling, health and safety regulations.
- Control food waste and manage inventory efficiently.
- Work quickly and safely to deliver prompt client service.
- Maintain clean, tidy, and safe prep and storage areas.
- Record quantities used and assist with ordering of food and supplies.
- Ensure proper rotation of perishable stock.
- Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements.
Required profile
- High school diploma.
- Culinary school graduate.
- 3‑5 years of prior cooking experience, preferably in a team‑oriented environment.
- Bilingual in French and English.
Required skills
- Food safety compliance.
- Inventory tracking and stock rotation.
