About the role
The Convocation Gown/Hood Attendant works for Gaspard Cap and Gown, providing a professional regalia service to graduates and faculty during RRC Polytechnic ceremonies. This seasonal, part‑time position is the first point of contact for graduates on their special day, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
Key responsibilities
- Unload, unpack, sort, and load boxes of hoods and gowns before and after ceremonies.
- Distribute gowns and hoods to graduates and faculty according to manager instructions.
- Provide clear instructions to graduates, faculty, and staff on how to wear the regalia.
- Maintain cleanliness of the hood and gown area and manage traffic flow during events.
- Assist with setup and cleanup of the regalia space each day.
Required profile
- Current RRC Polytechnic student able to work all scheduled days (Monday, November 9, 2026, 9 a.m.–10 p.m.).
- Demonstrated punctuality and strong time‑management skills.
- Physical ability to lift boxes weighing 25 kg or more.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills in a fast‑paced, front‑line environment.
- Social Insurance Number required for payment.
