Controller – Full-Time Finance Leader

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Controller to lead all financial operations at our fast‑growing powersports dealership in Wetaskiwin. The role involves managing accounting processes, financial reporting, cash flow and month‑end close, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting and financial operations, maintaining accurate records and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing procedures and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Support inventory accounting and deal postings within the dealership management system.

Required profile

• Dealership accounting experience (required).
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a powersports or similar retail environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and maintain high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Lightspeed DMS (or similar dealership management system).
• Microsoft Excel.
• General accounting software.
