Consultant, Physician Application Management Team (PRA-BC) – 12-Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant to join the Physician Application Management Team within the PRA-BC program. The role supports the assessment and licensing of internationally trained physicians and contributes to the recruitment and retention strategy for British Columbia’s health system.

Key responsibilities

• Manage application and documentation processes for internationally educated physicians eligible for licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
• Conduct scenario-based planning and develop physician supply projections.
• Track complex data sets and produce statistical reports to inform program decisions.
• Screen candidates for licensure readiness and practice-ready competency.
• Collaborate with program managers, physicians, and stakeholders to ensure smooth program operations.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in medical registration, licensure processes, or physician recruitment preferred.
• Attention to detail in record-keeping and data collection.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
