About the role
Join H&S HOLDINGS INC. as a Construction Trades Helper on a busy construction site in Hamilton. You will support material handling, concrete and asphalt work, and traffic control while working outdoors in a noisy, dusty environment.
Key responsibilities
- Load, unload and transport construction materials.
- Mix, pour and spread concrete and asphalt.
- Pave and rake asphalt surfaces.
- Clean, pile salvaged materials and remove rubble.
- Direct traffic at or near the construction site.
Required profile
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience in construction trades.
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- Traffic Control Person (TCP) certification.
- Ability to work outdoors in noisy and dusty conditions.
Required skills
- Operation of mortar and concrete mixers.
- Jackhammer and sledgehammer use.
- Use of precision measuring instruments.
- Traffic control procedures.
