Construction Site Supervisor

About the role

The Construction Site Supervisor will lead on‑site teams to ensure that building projects are completed safely, on schedule and within budget. This role combines hands‑on supervision, coordination of subcontractors, and enforcement of health‑and‑safety standards across diverse construction environments.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise workers, crews and subcontractors on multiple construction sites.
• Coordinate and schedule daily activities to meet project deadlines and budgets.
• Recruit, hire and arrange training for site personnel.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and recommend personnel actions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Lead and instruct individuals, performing the same duties as supervised workers when needed.
• Plan, organize and monitor site operations, including cement finishers, trades helpers and labourers.

Required profile

• Ability to work under pressure in noisy, dusty outdoor environments.
• Own tools and equipment; steel‑toed safety boots required.
• Excellent oral communication, organized, reliable and a strong team player.

Required skills

• Blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Project scheduling and coordination of construction activities.
• Supervision of crews and subcontractors.
