Construction Site Supervisor

About the role

J. Rauti Custom Homes is looking for an experienced Residential Construction Site Supervisor to lead high‑end custom home projects in the Windsor‑Essex region. The successful candidate will manage daily site operations, coordinate trades, and ensure that each home meets the company’s standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all phases of residential construction projects.
• Coordinate and schedule trades, suppliers, and inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure high‑quality construction throughout all stages.
• Review plans, specifications, and site progress daily.
• Communicate effectively with homeowners, trades, suppliers, and management.
• Identify and resolve construction issues proactively.
• Ensure compliance with Ontario building codes and health & safety regulations.
• Conduct site walkthroughs and deficiency reviews prior to completion.

Required profile

• Previous experience supervising residential construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of residential building practices and construction sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Experience in custom home construction is a strong asset.
