Construction Scheduler – Large Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler to strengthen project planning and scheduling across Industra’s growing portfolio of projects across Canada. The role spans the full project lifecycle, from estimating and pre‑construction through procurement and execution, providing visibility into milestones, resources and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules for multiple concurrent projects from pre‑construction to completion.
• Provide portfolio‑level schedule visibility, identifying milestones, overlaps, resource constraints and potential conflicts.
• Establish baseline schedules, track progress, and deliver accurate updates and forecasts.
• Monitor critical‑path activities, flag potential delays, and support mitigation planning.
• Partner with Estimating and Pre‑Construction to create realistic tender and project schedules.
• Coordinate with Procurement to integrate long‑lead items, equipment and subcontractors into plans.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to align schedules with site conditions and actual progress.
• Lead regular schedule reviews and produce clear reports on progress, risks and constraints.

Required profile

• 5+ years of construction industry experience, including large, complex projects, with at least 3 years focused on construction scheduling or project controls.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, critical‑path methodology and schedule analysis.
• Post‑secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with remote, northern or logistically complex projects is a strong asset.
