Construction Project Coordinator

About the role

The National Research Council (NRC) is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support its Real Property Planning and Management Branch in Boucherville. This three‑year term position will represent the NRC on construction sites, acting as the primary liaison between the organization, contractors, consultants, and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple renovation, restoration, and alteration projects simultaneously.
• Serve as the eyes, ears, and spokesperson for the Construction Project Manager on‑site.
• Ensure all work complies with tender documents, industry best practices, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Maintain clear communication with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and documentation to support timely delivery.

Required profile

• Bilingual (English/French) with a BBB/BBB language rating.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience collaborating with contractors, consultants, and clients on construction projects.
• Availability for full‑time onsite work at the NRC location.
