About the role
The Construction Painters Supervisor leads painting crews on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, to quality standards, and in compliance with safety regulations. This role involves coordinating daily activities, managing resources, and maintaining clear communication with site managers.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise workers and painting projects on site.
- Coordinate and schedule painting activities.
- Recruit, hire, and manage painting staff.
- Estimate costs and material requirements.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Prepare and submit progress and other reports.
- Oversee daily activities of floorhands, labourers, and helpers.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 2 to less than 3 years of experience supervising construction painting crews.
Required skills
- Blueprint reading.
- Cost estimation.
- Health and safety compliance.
