Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager leads the construction department, overseeing Site Superintendents, Assistant Site Superintendents, and Construction Technicians. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the company’s quality and safety standards while fostering strong trade relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the construction team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Coordinate resources, schedules, and trade activities across multiple projects.
• Monitor project performance, report milestones, and enforce safety and construction processes.
• Identify risks, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with contracts and scopes of work.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and trade partners, conducting regular performance reviews.
• Oversee site inspections to guarantee homes meet quality standards before customer possession.
• Communicate project status to customers and internal stakeholders and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in construction project management.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyze schedules, budgets, and performance data.
