Construction Labourer

About the role

TrueCon General Contractors Ltd is hiring a construction labourer to join its residential building teams in Cornwall, Ontario. The position involves daily outdoor work on active construction sites, including work at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions. You will support skilled tradespeople by handling materials, assembling temporary structures, and keeping sites orderly.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and constructing roofs.
• Clean, pile salvaged materials and remove rubble and debris.
• Tend or feed machines and equipment used in construction.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area throughout the shift.

• Dependable and reliable team player.
• Hardworking with a strong work ethic.
• Available to work early mornings and day shifts.
• Own reliable transportation to travel between sites.

Required skills

• Operation of circular saws.
• Use of nail guns.
• Proficiency with drills.
• General hand‑tool handling.
