Construction Labourer

About the role

Rising Edge Group is seeking a Construction Labourer to support its high‑voltage electrical projects across North America. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will work alongside crew leads to keep job sites safe, organized and productive.

Key responsibilities

• Perform physically demanding tasks such as digging, lifting, cable pulling and moving materials in all weather conditions.
• Maintain site cleanliness, conduct general clean‑up and remove snow when required.
• Assist equipment operators by securing attachments and guiding material movement.
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, reporting any maintenance needs.
• Use and maintain basic hand tools in a safe manner.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 10 education; High School Diploma preferred.
• At least 1 year of construction experience, preferably in medium‑ to high‑voltage environments.
• Physically able to lift up to 55 lb and work at heights of at least 9 feet.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and after‑hours.
• Read, write and understand English.

Required skills

• Basic hand‑tool operation.
• Company vehicle operation.
• CSTS (Construction Safety Training System) certification (asset).
