About the role
We are looking for a reliable Construction Helper to support our crew on various building projects across Surrey. The role involves assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring site tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Load, unload and transport construction materials, ensuring safe handling and proper placement on site.
- Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, following project specifications.
- Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs, supporting carpenters and tradespeople.
- Help align pipes during pipeline construction, ensuring correct positioning.
- Support drilling and blasting of rock on construction sites, following safety protocols.
- Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove rubble and debris, maintaining a tidy work environment.
- Clean and pile salvaged materials, and pave and rake asphalt as required.
Required profile
- Flexibility to work outdoors, at heights, and in dusty environments.
- Reliability and ability to work as a team player, following safety guidelines.
