Construction Helper

About the role

Join MARKS ROOFING LTD as a Construction Helper, working on residential roofing and building projects across various sites in Surrey, BC. This full‑time permanent position offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete and asphalt.
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.
• Level earth to fine‑grade specifications.
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• Remove rubble and debris from construction sites.
• Tend or feed machines and equipment used in construction.
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites.

Required profile

• Physically demanding work with ability to handle loads up to 23 kg (50 lb).
• Ability to work in fast‑paced environments, meet tight deadlines and operate at heights or in confined spaces.
• Client‑focused, reliable team player with flexible interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and overtime as needed.
