About the role
We are looking for a reliable Construction Helper to join our team in Surrey on a permanent, full‑time basis. This entry‑level position offers on‑site training and the chance to develop practical construction skills in a dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities
- Load, unload and transport construction materials across the site.
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
- Mix, pour and spread concrete and asphalt according to specifications.
- Level earth to fine‑grade specifications and clean up salvaged materials.
- Remove rubble and debris, tend or feed machines, and direct traffic around the site.
Required profile
- No prior experience required – comprehensive on‑the‑job training provided.
- Physically demanding work: ability to handle heavy loads, stand for long periods, and work in noisy, dusty conditions.
- Flexibility to bend, crouch, kneel and perform repetitive tasks safely.
Required skills
- Operating construction machinery.
- Traffic control on or near construction sites.
