Construction Framer Helper

About the role

Join Military Homes Construction Ltd as a Framer Helper on our Surrey site. This entry‑level position offers on‑the‑job training for individuals eager to start a career in construction. You will work outdoors in a physically demanding environment, handling materials and assisting skilled tradespeople.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials across the site.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete, asphalt and other building materials.
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.
• Support demolition activities and routine site maintenance.
• Clean up chemical spills, remove rubble and debris, and keep the site tidy.
• Operate or feed construction equipment as directed.
• Direct traffic safely around the work area.

Required profile

• No prior construction experience required; training will be provided.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions.
• Capable of handling heavy loads and performing manual labour.
• Willing to work early‑morning shifts.
• Basic literacy; no formal education required.
