Construction Estimator

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Estimator to join our Southern Ontario team in Scarborough. The role involves preparing accurate take‑offs and competitive estimates for electrical, mechanical and civil projects across the GTA.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare electrical, mechanical and civil take‑offs and detailed cost estimates.
• Lead the tendering process, including cost‑monitoring, reporting and submission of competitive price packages.
• Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors and owners to finalize bids and maintain a comprehensive supplier directory.
• Participate in site reviews, tender reviews, hand‑offs and project close‑outs.
• Develop tender construction schedules and scope‑of‑work methodologies while maintaining the Bid2Win database.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Construction Fundamentals; electrical trade background is an asset.
• 5+ years of estimating experience on construction projects.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑first mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using Bid2Win estimating software.
