Construction Estimator

About the role

The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects. Working on‑site, the role involves analysing blueprints, specifications and using computer‑aided design tools to support project planning and budgeting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare labour and material cost estimates based on project drawings and specifications.
• Operate CADD and other software to generate quantity take‑offs and cost calculations.
• Develop estimates for general expenses, overheads and conduct economic feasibility studies.
• Produce estimate reports, quote sheets and bid documents for submission.
• Set up cost monitoring systems, track contract expenditures and adjust forecasts as needed.
• Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors regarding cost changes and tender procedures.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate (high school).
• 3 to less than 5 years of experience in construction estimating.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Willingness to work on‑site with no remote option.

Required skills

• CADD software proficiency.
