Concrete Finisher

About the role

Triple K Paving Ltd is seeking a concrete finisher to join its Brampton team on a permanent, full‑time basis. The role involves working on a variety of concrete projects, ensuring surfaces are placed, finished and restored to the required standards.

Key responsibilities

• Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement before concrete placement.
• Place concrete directly into forms or onto surfaces, fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement.
• Level and finish top surfaces according to grade and depth specifications using hand and power tools.
• Work at heights on scaffolding or swing stages and install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures.
• Waterproof, damp‑proof, repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged concrete sections.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation.
• 1–2 years of concrete finishing experience.
• Physically demanding work: heavy lifting, bending, crouching, kneeling and standing for long periods.
• Attention to detail, sound discrimination and ability to work safely at heights.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand and power tools for concrete finishing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Experience working on scaffolding and swing stages.
• Basic knowledge of waterproofing and damp‑proofing techniques.
