Computer Network Technician

About the role

The company is seeking a skilled Computer Network Technician to join its IT team in Calgary. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of network infrastructures and ensuring reliable connectivity for users.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure software, networking hardware and operating systems.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and administer LAN, WAN and mainframe networks, as well as workstations and peripheral equipment.
• Monitor system and network performance, implement security procedures and optimize server performance.
• Perform data backups, disaster‑recovery operations and manage network traffic monitoring tools.
• Set up local area networks and Internet connections for new sites.
