Computer Network Technician

About the role

Connectra Technologies is seeking a Computer Network Technician to join its Edmonton team. The role focuses on maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting the company’s computer network infrastructure while supporting both on‑site and remote operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues promptly.
• Configure, install, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls and related hardware.
• Respond to on‑call and shift‑based incidents, including night and weekend coverage.
• Document network changes, procedures, and incident reports.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to implement network upgrades and security measures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in computer networking.
• Availability for shift work, on‑call duties and flexible hours (early morning, evening, night, weekend).
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and meet English language requirements.
• Own reliable internet connection and suitable workspace for remote tasks.
