Community Manager (Gaming)

About the role

ChillBase is an independent studio in the gaming industry working on One State, a social role-play game. It is looking for a Community Manager to build and grow its gaming community, support in-game volunteers and strengthen communication between players and the development team.

Key responsibilities

• Build, grow and structure the gaming community
• Lead and support in-game volunteer teams
• Strengthen communication between the community and the development team
• Create clear and engaging gameplay guides and tutorials
• Gather, organise and communicate player feedback to developers
• Organise events across social media platforms
• Moderate in-game and external community platforms such as Discord and social media

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience as a Community Manager in the gaming industry
• Experience managing and moderating Discord communities
• Strong understanding of Canadian gaming culture
• Fluency in English (C1-C2) and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Nice to have: experience on role-play projects, analytical mindset, familiarity with Canadian French
