About the role

The company is seeking a Commercial Laundry Appliance Technician to service and repair laundry equipment for commercial clients in Rouyn‑Noranda. The role involves on‑site visits, diagnosing faults, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently. You will work directly with customers, providing technical advice and ensuring timely resolution of service requests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare written estimates of repair costs.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine work requirements.
• Plan service routes and schedule visits.
• Diagnose faults using testing devices and specialized diagnostic equipment.
• Repair and replace electrical components of laundry appliances.
• Advise customers on performed work and equipment condition.
• Use shop equipment and programming apparatus to adjust and reprogram appliances.
• Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
• Maintain service records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards.

Required profile

• Dependable and organized.
• 1–2 years of experience in appliance or laundry equipment service.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good communication with customers.
