Commercial Account Executive – New Business (SaaS)

About the role
Poka is looking for a Commercial Account Executive to lead new‑business growth across North America. You will own a pipeline of commercial and mid‑market manufacturing prospects, guiding deals from initial outreach through to close in a fast‑moving SaaS environment.
Key responsibilities
- Generate and manage net‑new pipeline across a defined North American territory.
- Drive the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, value articulation, negotiation and closing.
- Identify and engage key stakeholders in manufacturing and industrial organizations, building multi‑threaded relationships.
- Collaborate with SDRs, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure pipeline coverage and smooth handoffs.
- Stay informed on manufacturing trends, digital transformation initiatives, and competitive dynamics to refine outreach.
Required profile
- 4+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience with a focus on net‑new business development.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding new‑logo quotas in commercial or mid‑market segments.
- Experience selling into manufacturing, industrial, or frontline‑heavy environments is a strong differentiator.
- Hunter mindset with strong communication and storytelling abilities.
- Self‑starter with resilience, curiosity, and disciplined territory management.
