Coat Check Attendant

About the role

CIBC Executive Dining, part of Oliver & Bonacini, is a private members' club offering refined seasonal cuisine and a curated beverage program, open to business meetings and celebrations. The Coat Check Attendant is the first and last point of contact for guests, managing their belongings with care, accuracy and discretion while keeping a calm, welcoming and unobtrusive presence.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously and manage coat and personal item intake and retrieval with accuracy
• Handle guest belongings with care, discretion and attention to detail
• Maintain an organized, secure and orderly coat check area at all times
• Issue and manage coat check tickets accurately and efficiently
• Support smooth guest flow during peak arrival and departure periods
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and front-of-house team members
• Uphold appearance standards and service expectations

Required profile

• Prior experience in hospitality, guest services or another customer-facing role preferred
• Professional, composed demeanor with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage high volumes efficiently while maintaining accuracy
• Strong organizational skills and reliability
• Clear, respectful communication skills
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Available Monday to Friday (11am-2pm) and some additional evenings for events
