Co-op Jr. Graphic Designer

About the role

TTI Canada Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of power tools, outdoor power equipment, floorcare products, hand tools and accessories, is hiring a full-time Co-op Jr. Graphic Designer in Toronto. The position sits in the creative department and supports brands such as Milwaukee and RYOBI. It offers a multifaceted training program and hands-on field experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design high-quality external communication and business development collateral, including in-store POP and merchandising, advertisements, presentation materials, brochures, sell sheets and special event items such as invitations and signage
• Create digital assets for websites, social media and marketing emails
• Think creatively within deadlines and pay close attention to detail
• Prepare final files for hand-off to printers and suppliers

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a college or university graphic design co-op/internship program
• Ability to create original designs or adapt templates in line with an organization's branding strategy
• Excellent time management and prioritization, and the ability to work in a busy environment with competing deadlines
• Organized, detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal and written communication skills

Required skills

• Adobe Creative Suite on a Mac (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Microsoft Office
• Workflow and font management
• Video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro) and interactive visual effects (After Effects) are an asset but not required
