Class 1 Shuttle Driver – Montreal

About the role

UniFirst Canada is seeking a reliable Class 1 Shuttle Driver to transport production materials between its plant and branch locations in the Montreal area. The role ensures timely deliveries while maintaining safety and vehicle standards.

Key responsibilities

• Transport products between branch and plant locations according to the daily schedule.
• Select and load the appropriate product for each trip.
• Load and unload the shuttle vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate travel and cargo logs in compliance with federal and provincial regulations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, monitor fluid and tire levels, and report any maintenance issues.
• Keep the shuttle vehicle clean both inside and out.
• Drive safely, adhering to all company policies and traffic laws.

Required profile

• Valid Class 1 driver’s licence.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and loading cargo.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to UniFirst safety policies.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Required skills

• Safe operation of a Class 1 shuttle vehicle.
• Accurate log‑keeping and documentation.
• Basic vehicle maintenance awareness.
