Cladding Estimator

About the role

Bothwell-Accurate is seeking a detail‑oriented Cladding Estimator to join its Surrey office. The role involves preparing accurate, competitive bids for cladding projects and supporting the estimating team in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review project drawings and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
• Perform quantity take‑offs and material estimates using architectural plans.
• Prepare cost estimates and submit competitive bids on schedule.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and negotiate costs.
• Communicate with project managers, site supervisors, and clients to ensure alignment on project scope.
• Maintain cost databases, historical pricing records, and bid tracking systems.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in construction, preferably with cladding or building‑envelope projects.
• Strong analytical and mathematical abilities for cost estimation and quantity take‑offs.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Bluebeam.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Experience using PlanSwift.
• Experience with GoNest or similar estimating/optimization software.
