Civil Engineering Assistant – Traffic Engineering Co‑op

You are a civil engineering student eager to work on real engineering projects within a collaborative team. This co‑op position offers hands‑on experience in traffic engineering design and field work.

Key responsibilities

• Modify basic design drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Complete field assignments and site visits as directed by Project Managers.
• Perform design calculations and prepare technical reports under supervision.
• Assemble and deliver drawing submission packages, ensuring proper file naming and layer management.
• Maintain quality‑control procedures and prepare project documentation for both hard‑copy and electronic distribution.

Required profile

• Previous work experience in a civil engineering environment (preferred).
• Currently pursuing a Civil Engineering degree (3rd‑year student or equivalent preferred).
• Exposure to AutoCAD and Civil 3D (preferred).
• Valid driver’s licence (asset, not required).
• Willingness to work outdoors on‑site as needed.
• Ability to consistently produce accurate, high‑quality work.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
