About the role

Our client, a leading general contractor in Montreal, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support its continued growth. The role involves overseeing commercial, institutional, industrial and multi‑residential projects from planning through delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of construction projects, from planning to handover.
• Coordinate professionals, subcontractors, suppliers and on‑site teams.
• Prepare and monitor construction schedules.
• Track budgets, costs, change orders and financial forecasts.
• Participate in site and coordination meetings.
• Handle change requests, directives and contractual documents.
• Ensure compliance with timelines, quality standards and financial targets.
• Work closely with superintendents to guarantee smooth execution.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Actively resolve technical and operational issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a construction project manager.
• Background with a general contractor.
• Experience in commercial, institutional, industrial or multi‑residential projects.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and contracts.
• Proven budget and schedule management abilities.
• Leadership, autonomy and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
