Certified Education Assistant (Part‑time, Permanent)

About the role

The Rocky Mountain School District is seeking three Certified Education Assistants to join our inclusive teams on a permanent, part‑time basis. You will work directly with students who have diverse abilities, supporting their academic and personal growth under the guidance of teachers and administrators.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in Individual Educational Planning, team meetings, parent conferences, and open houses as needed.
• Provide instructional, behavioral, and record‑keeping support, including communication logs and observation charts.
• Assist in adapting classroom materials and facilitating student independence with accommodations.
• Support delivery of medical, occupational, physical, and speech therapies when trained.
• Supervise students on outings and help develop community work‑experience placements.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as toileting, dressing, eating, and mobility, following health‑professional directives.
• Utilize assistive technologies and software to enhance learning access.
