Cashier & Customer Service Associate

About the role

Legacy Liquor is seeking a courteous and efficient store employee to join its Calgary location. The role combines front‑line cashier duties with proactive customer service, ensuring a smooth shopping experience for all patrons.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately and provide friendly service.
• Maintain inventory levels, order merchandise and receive deliveries, signing and unloading pallets.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including key holding duties.
• Keep the store clean by following cleaning schedules and policies.
• Resolve customer inquiries, complaints and supply shortages promptly.
• Prepare routine reports on sales volume, merchandising performance and personnel matters.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a professional demeanor.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work full‑time, including opening and closing shifts.
• Valid work permit; car ownership and a driving licence are preferred.
• Secondary school education preferred.
• Pro Serve certification required.
