About the role
BGC Okanagan is seeking a Case Manager for CLBC Programs to support young adults in building resilience, life skills, healthy relationships, and community connections. The position is casual, on‑call, and involves both office‑based and community‑based work.
Key responsibilities
- Gather information on participants’ needs, risks, and strengths through interviews, observations, and assessment tools.
- Develop and implement short‑term, issue‑specific intervention plans within program scope.
- Conduct individual and group sessions using active listening, conflict resolution, and problem‑solving techniques.
- Monitor progress, assess strategy effectiveness, and adjust approaches as needed.
- Maintain records, statistics, and provide regular reports to the supervisor.
- Liaise with other professionals and participants’ natural supports to promote their interests.
Required profile
- A diploma, certificate or relevant experience working with children in recreation, education, or social services.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving abstract.
