Carpenter – Permanent Full‑Time Position

About the role

We are looking for a reliable carpenter to join our team in Surrey on a permanent, full‑time basis. The role involves constructing, installing, and maintaining a variety of wooden structures across residential and commercial sites. You will work closely with supervisors and other tradespeople to deliver high‑quality workmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare labour and material cost estimates.
• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes and lightweight steel.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub‑flooring and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and other wooden structures.

Required profile

• Criminal record check.
• Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, lift heavy loads and work in various postures.
• Accurate, reliable, team‑oriented with strong client focus.
• 1–2 years of carpentry experience.

• Measure, cut, shape and assemble wood and related materials.
