About the role
We are looking for a skilled carpenter to join our construction team in Surrey. The role involves hands‑on work on building sites, ensuring high‑quality finish and compliance with codes.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare labour and material cost estimates.
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
- Schedule and coordinate work on sites, supervise workers and instruct apprentices.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 3 to less than 5 years of carpentry experience.
Required skills
- Blueprint reading.
- Proficiency with measuring tools.
- Woodworking and material joining techniques.
- Installation of windows, doors and related hardware.
