Carpenter – Construction Specialist

About the role
We are looking for an experienced carpenter to join our construction team in Surrey. The role involves a mix of structural and finish work, ensuring high‑quality craftsmanship on residential projects.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare labour and material cost estimates and schedule work on site.
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes and lightweight steel.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub‑flooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 3 to 5 years of hands‑on carpentry experience.
Required skills
- Blueprint reading.
- Proficiency with measuring tools.
- Woodworking and material joining techniques.
