Carpenter – Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our construction team in Surrey, BC, handling a variety of residential, commercial and industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials such as wood, wood substitutes and lightweight steel.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures across various settings.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• 2 to less than 3 years of carpentry experience.
• Ability to work at heights, in noisy, dusty and outdoor environments.
• Accurate, team‑oriented and willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings and overtime.
• Criminal record check required.
• Transportation provided by the employer.
