Café Manager – Operations & Staff Leadership

About the role

Mukasi Coffee is seeking an experienced Café Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple outdoor and café locations. You will be responsible for driving profitability, ensuring high‑quality service, and leading a team of 5‑10 staff members.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and develop budgets to control food, beverage, and supply costs.
• Monitor revenues, labour costs, and cash flow; prepare balance sheets and cash reports.
• Plan, organize, and supervise daily café operations, including inventory management.
• Recruit, schedule, train, and evaluate staff performance.
• Negotiate with suppliers and clients for catering and facility use.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food‑service regulations.
• Address customer complaints and deliver exceptional service.
• Participate in marketing initiatives and coordinate special events.
