About the role
We are seeking a skilled cabinetmaker to join our custom cabinet and millwork shop in Richmond. You will work on residential projects, creating high‑quality kitchen cabinets, vanities, and built‑in units for our clients.
Key responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and finish cabinets, drawers, and built‑in furniture according to detailed drawings.
- Operate hand and power tools safely in a fast‑paced environment.
- Handle materials up to 23 kg (50 lb) and stand for extended periods while maintaining precision.
- Maintain a clean, non‑smoking work area and adhere to safety protocols, including wearing steel‑toed boots.
- Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in cabinetmaking or related millwork.
- Accurate, organized, and able to work well in a team.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Own reliable transportation; public transit not available.
