Business Development Representative

About the role

PCCA is looking for a Business Development Representative to drive new sales opportunities with community compounding pharmacies across Canada. The role is heavily focused on outbound prospecting, collaborative sales processes, and supporting existing customer relationships to foster retention and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new pharmacy customers through approved outbound channels (phone, email, video, etc.).
• Research target accounts, locate key decision‑makers, and conduct consultative discovery conversations.
• Present PCCA’s products, education, and services using value‑based messaging.
• Pass qualified leads to Territory Managers and collaborate on follow‑up activities and strategic account plans.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline stages, activity notes, and forecasts.
• Support existing accounts with proactive outreach, product information, and growth opportunity identification.
• Promote educational events, new products, and services to both prospective and current customers.
• Participate in trade shows, sales meetings, training sessions, and occasional travel (under 20% of time).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1‑3 years of business development, inside sales, account management, or consultative B2B sales experience.
• Experience prospecting new customers is preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent organization, resilience, and time‑management skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and virtual meeting tools.
• Healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, or pharmacy experience is an asset.
• French language skills are a plus.
