Business Controller

About the role

The Business Controller will act as a strategic partner to finance and business leaders, providing financial leadership, insights, and performance visibility to support decision‑making and planning. You will drive analysis of results, identify risks and opportunities, and deliver actionable recommendations to improve business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑pilot the annual budget (OP), monthly forecasts (DF) and monthly closures (PEC) in collaboration with finance analysts and department heads.
• Ensure forecast accuracy, perform variance analysis and provide proactive recommendations.
• Develop and improve financial insights to support business decisions and planning accuracy.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and act as a change agent to implement recommendations.
• Lead process and tool improvements for budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Coach finance analysts on budget follow‑up, analysis, and presentation of investment decisions.
• Own reporting of budget and variance reports internally and with headquarters.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
• Proactive, results‑oriented and comfortable driving continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills to influence senior stakeholders and present recommendations.
• Experience coaching and developing junior finance team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
