Business Consultant

About the role

This hybrid Business Consultant position is based in downtown Toronto, requiring on‑site presence at our office or client sites at least two days per week. You will support business transformation and process improvement initiatives, working closely with cross‑functional teams to drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to business transformation and process optimization projects aligned with strategic objectives.
• Analyze current‑state processes, identify inefficiencies and risks, and propose scalable solutions.
• Develop and document AS‑IS and TO‑BE process maps, conduct root‑cause analysis, and define measurable KPIs.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to gather requirements and support decision‑making.
• Partner with stakeholders to design future‑state processes and ensure business readiness.
• Support change‑management activities, including communication planning, training, and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide strategic consulting support such as business case development and transformation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with technology and delivery teams to translate business requirements into solutions.
• Monitor and report on initiative progress, risks, and outcomes.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in business consulting, analysis, or process improvement.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Business Process Management techniques.
• Proven ability to analyze complex problems, synthesize insights, and deliver data‑driven recommendations.
• Experience leading workshops and engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
